• Libyan leader Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi has revealed the contents of the "draft final" communique of the emergency Arab summit to be held on 21st-22nd October in Cairo. In a live interview with Qatari al-Jazeera TV on 17th October, Al-Qadhafi agreed with the communique's call for an international court to bring Israeli "criminals of war" to justice, but he stressed that "this will not happen and not one Israeli person will ever stand trial". Al-Qadhafi said that the Arab summit will embarrass the Arab rulers, and will not do anything to satisfy the ordinary people. ... As far as "the enemy" is concerned, Al-Qadhafi said, "we either use force to deter it, or we enforce an embargo on it".
