From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Created page for feedback from peer review.
1) Is this content assimilated page appropriate for the encyclopedia format? Users have to clink links for information.
2) Vague on copyright? Links refer to articles that are in the blockquotes, giving credit to site. Do I need permission of every article and site that is in page?
3) Article does not flow, is a hodgepodge of info. Users have heard about satellite radio, but really don't know what it is. Theme of background and online shopping I believe is relevant to page. Knowing what it is is mute, how do I make a smart shopping decision for purchase. How do I research subject online and then purchase.
4) I see a need for a page on car satellite radio in the radio category, but I'm not sure if this is the appropriate page or style (blog) to fill need.
For the record, I'm happy the article was replaced with a stub, as I learned that editing the original was too difficult. -- Mattworld 20:16, 4 Oct 2003 (UTC)
Thanks all for the help on the page. I looked around more in the radio category and further understand how satellite is covered. The last paragraph I found interesting. My girlfriend just started as a receptionist with a local country radio station. Its regional and owner has 4 stations of different formats; looking to further expand.
I have removed the page from peer review. Matt ...... I chuckled when I read your statement about how hard it was to edit the page. I was working in 3 screens just to figure how to format this and the peer review page. I had copied the page from my personal site, which uses css; then edited trying to conform to wikipedia coding. -- Ron
