- june bug plague!.
- This is our first spring living in "Deep East Texas" and we have recently been plagued by June Bugs! I have NEVER seen so many June Bugs at one time! They started up about 3 weeks ago. It was like a bad Bug Movie, we kept hearing sounds like rain on the door but when we went to investigate it was hundreds of June Bugs! They covered the steps, and one night I left an empty margerine tub on the steps and the next morning much to my horror the tub was almost full of June Bugs crawling around. It was sooooooooo gross! I threw them out in the grass near the birdfeeder and later watched while the Mockingbirds and Redbirds had a feast! I normally like June bugs, I am not afraid to pick them up, it is just that there are so many that it overwhelms you and they are just all over! They keep getting in the house, and I spend every evening catching them and throwing them back outside. ...
